The ladies summer training commenced last night on the Millfields. Unfortunately we were missing a few of our players, however our numbers were increased with two keen U8’s!
The emphasis of tonight’s training was to work on attacking/defensive play & improving our accuracy of hand eye coordination. In several of the exercises we used a selection of different sized balls ranging from a jumbo fun sized rugby ball to a tennis ball! This proved to be quite a laugh as the jumbo ball was being passed about! Slightly more difficult with the tennis ball but we had some super passes & catches on the pitch. We finished off we a game of rugby cricket which was great fun.
Tonight’s session definitely helping with our passing & catching. This will help the team next week with our match against the U14/15’s!
