Burnham U8's travelled to Barking today for a triangle with Stanford. Their first game was against Barking. Burnham started off slowly and were left wondering when Barking started doing illegal hand offs, but they picked themselves up and started playing like they have been over the last few weeks. Burnhams defensive line stayed strong and their attacking runs were deadly. The game ended with a narrow victory to Barking.
Burnham's second game was against Stamford and Burnham had really switched on. They were putting such pressure on Stanford that they were rewarded with turnover after turnover and their legendary attacking won them a comfortable victory. The final game was another game against Barking. This was a much closer game than the first and both teams were strong in defense. Burnham again produced some excellent tries, but Barking always managed to come back with one of their own. The game ended in a deserved draw.
