AIDAN HULL DISPLAYS GREAT PASSING AND HANDLING SKILLS FOR PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Burnham U8's travelled to a sunny Basildon today. The Basildon pitch was very narrow, which made it harder to play. This helped Burnham show what sheer class they are. In the first game they moved the ball quickly in attack and scored some well worked tries. Their defensive play carried on from last week and managed to produce a few great 7 tag turnovers. Basildon put more pressure on in the second half and managed to force some silly errors. Burnham won the game 10-7.

The second game was much the same as the first with Burnham showing a dominant attacking game. There defensive started to falter slightly and let a few soft tries through. The second game also ended in a 10-7 win for Burnham. Unfortunately Basildon turned down the invitation for a third game.
Player of the week went to Aidan Hull for his superb passing and great hands.
