Burnham played local rivals South Woodham Ferrer's Today. We had a team of nine players and the fixture was split into three games of 10 minutes each. Woodham got off to a good start ending a Burnham attacking phase with a seven tag turnover the rest of the match was very much end to end final score 6:4 to Woodham.

The Second game was played at a much greater pace with some great defending and attacking by both teams with a number of turnovers on each side, with Woodham scoring in the final seconds of the game and Burnham not having enough time to equalise. Final score 7:6 to Woodham.

In The final game the teams where getting tired but still fighting for every ball, a few breaks in the Burnham defensive line allowed Woodham to take control of the game, Burnham fought but where unable to get back in front. Final score 6:5 to Woodham.

Burnham man of the match was George Hutcheon for scoring a great try and some great support play.
