A superb performance by the U8's today against a well drilled Stanford-le-hope team. All players showed excellent commitment and determination which lead to a successful match.
Bobby Brown was on top form with his tagging and didn't stop until the end! Elliott Cottman despite feeling ill made his presence on the pitch known with his tagging skills. It was wonderful to see Tilly Spring after her travels who showed that she had not forgotten all that she had learnt before her holiday and scored a well earned try. Charlie Hill had a great game, he was good in defence and scored a good try. Matthew Corrigan was on form today and showed great all round skills. Stefan Webb although feeling ill scored a fantastic try by running onto the ball passed by George Corrigan 5 meters from the line. George has really up his game and showed that his was not only about speed and scoring try's, he was first to go up at a Stanford start and tagged well. We scored 19 try's, George (11), Matthew (4), Charlie (1), Stefan (1), Bobby (1) & Tilly (1)
Thank you to all the parents that brought their children to Stanford, which were treated to an amazing game of rugby.
Well done guys and keep the great work up!
