Deja vu at Stanford , Sunday except today was dull and windy.
Old Brentwood invited Burnham to join forces for their fixture against Stanford.
From the kick off the ba ba team were on top in all areas and showed strength in the tackle and maul. Once again the scrum half was on top in the first half with a quick break through the Stanford defence with some excellent passing to a moving maul and the scrum half went over to score first. It was end to end and some fine defence and another in field move the ball passed around lead to another fine try for the ba ba team. Stanford struck back with a rolling maul to go over the line just before half time.
Score 5 - 10 to the Ba Ba's team in front.
Second half started with a deep kick which wasn't dealt with and allowed Stanford in for an easy score. The ba ba team tried to fight this second half and Stanford upped their game to run in a breakaway try. And once again the ba ba team were caught knapping from a deep kick to allow another easy try . The end quarter saw more aggression throughout from the ba ba team and more bite lead to another try with some fine passing.
