> A bright but chilly day saw Burnham under 10's travel to Rochford.

> Both clubs fielded two teams with four ten minute matches the format for the day.

> Each match was closely contested with both teams demonstrating impressive defensive qualities.

> Rochford applied continued pressure on Burnham, but strong rucking by Jack Beale and hard tackles slowed Rochford's attacks. A crunching tackle by Cerys Cook that had spectators wincing prevented a certain try.
>
> Although Rochford were gaining sporadic try's, driving runs by Jobo and Hayden Churchill allowed Burnham to push forward.
>
> In the end Burnham could not find a way through Rochford's defence and finished the day on the losing side despite never giving up and displaying impressive aggression and character throughout the morning.
