> Some of Burnham under 10's travelled to the annual Romford festival and took part in a four team tournament.

> Their first match was against a very good Epping side. Epping started off with two impressive, quick try's. Burnham dusted themselves down and two strong tackles by Lewis fired up the whole team. Thomas and Sam's quick hands, pushed Burnham forward. The game became a hard fought contest with Epping squeezing out one more try before half time.

> The second half started with Burnham putting on the pressure. Charlie was driving forward with impressive power, CeCe as ever was first in to many rucks. Quick passing down the line sent Harry sprinting down the wing to pull a try back for Burnham. Epping knew they were in a game and just managed to score another try resulting in a 20-5 win.

> Burnham's second game was against Upminster. Despite some good early passing from Burnham Upminster scored two first half try's.
> The second half was very close, Lewis was tackling like a demon, Harvey was powering into every ruck, Hayden was charging forward and JoBo made a fantastic try saving tackle. Upminster made one more try. Final score 15-0 to Upminster.

> In their final game Burnham came up against Wanstead. The match was a hard contest but Wanstead got the breaks their play deserved. Burnham were on the back foot from the start and despite some brilliant defending came off at half time 15-0 down.
> In the second half a brilliant passing move by Sam, Shaun and Thomas pushed burnham forward after CeCe had won the ball. Charlie was driving forward and Harry made a brilliant tackle to stop Wanstead in their tracks. Wanstead continued to put on the pressure and scored three second half try's. Burnham lost 30-0 but never gave up.
