Burnham U10's hosted Woodham Ferrer’s on a very wet and windy Sunday.
Woodham started hard and fast and put Burnham under immediate pressure. This resulted in a quick turnover ball and a try for the guests. This was the wakeup call Burnham needed and they came back with some great open play which resulted in well worked tries. Burnham the continued to play some beautiful attacking rugby and moved the ball so well between each other, this meant that Woodham struggled to compete. However, the visitors kept fighting and made it a very enjoyable day. Three games were played, with the scores being: 4-1, 4-3, 8-2
Players of the week this week were Keeaun Jones for his amazing defensive work and leading from the front and Ryeka Hayter for some great work in defence, but also his great attacking play, passing and support play.
All in all a fantastic effort and worthy winners.
