We have some exceptional news for Burnham rugby club. Nancy H heard last week that she is through to the PDG with England u18s. This is phenomenal news and we as a club are so proud of her. Nancy is a member at Burnham and has played at Burnham since U6s. Last year she was brave enough to rock up to a Pitch up and play and was spotted by Essex and got selected for Essex u16s. As Burnham did not have enough u16s she played and did additional training at Harlow.

There are nine pods around the country and several hundred young women trialling. Nancy was the only one selected from her other team mates and she is understandably over whelmed by the news

We as a club are incredibly proud of her making it this far and cannot wait to support her in her four matches this season across various venues. Nancy will be being trained by some very famous previous Red Roses including Maggie Alphonso and at multiple venues including Oaklands at St Albans.

We wish Nancy so much success and fly our Burnham flag high.
