Burnham were drawn away against Woodford in the Cup. Expecting a tough game, Burnham went with a squad of 19 players, but were surprised by a Woodford side that had just enough players for a team.
The game was one way traffic, with Burnham scoring 6 tries in the first half, and Woodford conceded the game before the second half started.
Burnham was able to implement the half-game rule, and rotate all the players, ensuring everyone got game time.
The scrum was excellent, and will be a formidable weapon in tougher games. Backs played some nice interplay, and some very strong running.
Overall a good start to the season, but there are some areas that the team will need to work on.
