Over £300 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support

A damp and drizzly start to the annual beer festival provided a steady stream of punters for our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Saturday.

With a fabulous display of sweet treats on offer, washed down with piping hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate, the club raised a fantastic £301.23 for the charity that supports people facing cancer.

Huge thanks must go to everybody who supplied the goods or made a donation.

A special mention too for Joe Nelson (age 9) who did a super job of manning the stall for the day.
