The first quarter of the first half was a strong performance and were 3 try's up! We started to drop off a little in the second quarter and Southend started fighting back.
We held the first half but were faced with some difficult circumstances that were handled well.
Coming into the second half we lost some power in the tackles and rucks and Southend certainly used this to their advantage and the score was starting to even out.
A little pep talk did the trick and everyone powered on and started to work more together by coming up as a line, fanning out, offloading and better tackling.
With only 3 minutes to go we made a last try and won the game!
Final score 31 -29 to WoodBurn
The MOTM went to a player that took himself out of his comfort zone to take on the role of Captain and felt like he was taking on several positions on the pitch today, so well done to George O.
