What a day for our club. There were literally hundreds of extremely keen and excited members and non members pouring into the club for this historic event.

We were lucky enough to be chosen due to the club's pitch to the RFU for us to be considered to have the Cup at the club. Two RFU members came with the Trophy, under tight security measures, Boycie and Sally Russo (number 174 Red Rose!). The children, parents and local community embraced the day and saw some fantastic rugby from our Under 15s who played Upminster and our ladies / girls who hosted Canvey.

The atmosphere at the club was just out of this world, what an historic moment for us.
