A showery then sunny day saw the mighty Burnham take on a very Spritely Billericay squad. With some minor rule changes Burnham embraced the game and made some tremendous gaps in attack but Billericay were well drilled and clever and were not prepared to let us through. We regrouped and came back harder and faster each quarter finding the spaces making the ball do the work and getting our nifty michelle Clark and Tracy Clark through some gaps. Billericay were not to be deterred and pushing us back in defence with some solid touches they drew us in and found small gaps to pounce on. We worked hard to come back and throughly enjoyed the physicality of the touch game!!!

Both teams were great sport mans and everyone enjoyed the fiercely contested game.

Well done to player of the week nominated by her team milly Guilfoyle for her superb maturity and fantastic attack and defensive play an absolute hands down winner. and specks nominated by billericay. It was great to see Burnham come second and first in the drinking competition, thanks to great coaching from Vicky smith!! Thank you to our supporters the Corrigan and Nichols families!!!!
