Colts - BRUFC Colts take Eton Manor Colts for a cup match!

A cold wet drizzly day made ball handling very challenging for both sides. Play was pretty well matched but Eton Manor fed off of Burnham’s mistakes to open the scoring with 2 tries and 2 conversions before Burnham’s Ewan Allen put them on the score sheet with a great try, converted by Ben Bellchambers.
A further try and conversion for Eton Manor, followed by tries from Burnham’s Charlie McCoy and Amiel Montealegre took a very wet half time score to 17/21 in Eton Manors favour.
Half time team talks saw both teams come out for the second half buzzing, Eton Manor again led the scoring , taking another try. Score now standing at 17/26. Burnham were not about to give up on this very important match, with a massive charge through the centre of the field ploughing through the defence, Sam David scored directly under the bar making it a nice kick for conversion by Ben Bellchambers.
Completely back in the game now and sensing a win Burnham’s forwards surged forward and managed to pop the ball out to winger Bill Goodley who scored the final try of the game to make full time score BRUFC Colts 29/26 Eton Manor Colts.
