Burnham U8's travelled to Witham this week on a very wet and windy day.
The first game was a very close game, with Burnham producing two '7 Tag turnovers', but let Witham back with some silly mistakes. The game finished 10-9
The second team saw the young stars back to the old selves, with some dazzling runs, great support play and majestic passing. They romped home to a 12-4 win.
The third game was similar to the second. With some beautiful moves and passing which resulted in another comfortable win 9-4. Player of the week was a very hard decision this week as all the team played out of their skins and really showed everyone what a great side they are. In the end Henry Miller Wood won the trophy for great determination both in attack and in defense. Bring on the Romford Festival!!
