Southend v Burnham

Burnham played away at Southend today which was Southend's first game of the season. We had a team of 9 players, a team of six and 3 subs, Southend had two teams plus subs and we played both teams. It was another very fast paced game with Burnham being matched point for point at the start. Burnham played exceptionally well running with the ball, holding the defensive line and taking some fantastic tags which led to two seven tag turnovers which allowed us to win the game. Credit must be given to Southend who played well themselves keeping the pressure on all the way to the final whistle.
