Excellent attendance with 8 very keen players arriving raring to go, however Charlie Hill had to stand down early due to illness.Fortunately he was able to cheer on from the side line. The remaining players put on possibly their best performance yet! 19 tries scored each one being created by wonderful team play.
Three players, Elliot, Charlie Kober and Bobby were only playing their second competitive match and really showed they have learnt a lot in a short time. George and Matthew scored 10 and 4 tries respectively with George showing his turn of pace and Matthew scoring a fantastic individual effort after intercepting a loose Canvey pass.
Stefan displayed superb tagging skills by defending the space and preventing 3 Canvey scoring opportunities when he was the last defending player. He also topped this with a well taken try.
One of the teams most improved skill was ball possession achieved by well timed and well placed passes. Most improved in this was Sienna who set up 2 fabulous tries with her accurate passing, and got a try herself.
All family and friends spectating could not get enough of the excellent rugby on display. Keep it up Under 8's!
