Burnham V Stanford

Burnham went away with 11 players to Stanford, unfortunately Stanford had only 3 players so to make a match we shared Stanford 3 players.

We ended up playing 5 minute games in which Burnham players on both sides of the pitch showed some great support running skills with the ball. Some excellent supporting lines was seen and off-loading in the tag.

In the first match there was some slight confusion as the Burnham players were so used to playing with each other that they were passing to the Burnham players on the opposition side. But after a couple of minutes they got used to this and played a great match!

Player of the week was a really hard decision as they all played really well. Archie Harris got player of the week for volunteering straight away for being on the opposition side and showing some great skills and teamwork. Robert Burns got Skill of the week for really good direct running that set up a great try for the Stanford side for when he was playing on their team. Tommy Hart got TREDS for showing good teamwork and being happy to let other people play and suggesting great ideas whilst he was on the side-lines.
