PLAYER OF THE DAY NATHAN FLYNN LEADS HIS TEAM TO VICTORY

Burnham played away this weekend against Barking, Burnham had a great turn out with ten players enabling us to field two teams of five players. As Barking only had one team it was decided that five of the players would play Barking. To give Barking a rest our two teams would play each other. The final game of the day would be between the Barking and our players who had not yet played against Barking.

The first five players from Burnham where Thomas Courts, Nathan Flynn, Kieran Harris, George Hall and Beth Hainsby. Burnham Started well with Nathan Flynn and Beth Hainsby getting a turnover ball and finishing the first half 3:1 then in the second half the team managed to extend their lead to 6:3 bye the end of the game. Try’s where scored by Thomas Courts 3, George Hall 2 and Kieran Harris 1.

The Second five players from Burnham where Joseph Banks, George Cooke, George Hutcheon, Patrick Smyth and Thomas Hillier. Burnham Started the game and got off to a flying start with a quick try both Georges played well in defence helping to turn the ball over a number of times allowing Burnham to win the game 8:5. Try’s where scored by Joseph Banks 3, Patrick Smyth 3, Thomas Hillier and George Cooke.
