Boisterous Burnham take on windy Wanstead

Burnham made the long journey to Wanstead and were faced with incredibly windy conditions. The first game they just lost by one try. Fantastic displays of solid tackling

The second game saw Wanstead continually break our line but the boys and girls never gave up and kept their heads up and battled on for Thomas to finally score. Everyone was shocked by the try differences as the game seemed so well matched butvwanstead were not going to be stopped!!!

The third game Burnham came out fighting again and made some brilliant passes which led to our winger going through. Unfortunately the game had to be stopped due to an injury to a Wanstead player having been tackled. Special mention to the whole team but in particular to Cerys for some incredible tackles, to Hayden for his exceptional support play and tackling and scoring his first try for Burnham, to josh for being the tackler of the week he would not let go until they were down!!! Finally to Sam our man of the match for his fantastic listening skills and willingness to improve his game. Well done under 9s a mornings rugby you should be very proud of.
