Burnham Santas and Elves take on wonderous Woodham

Well what a fantastic morning of rugby from the Under 9s. A tremendous fight ensued from Three Woodham teams and two Burnham teams. The sportsmanship was incredible. Unfortunately Burnham could not quite beat the Woodham defences so were unable to secure a win, but their rugby was brilliant. With continuous crunching tackles from George Yeoman, Cerys Cook and Charlie Sims (welcome back!). Incredible forward running from Sam Kelleher who was desperately trying to break the Woodham defence to be continually stopped. All the players did not give up and Burnham came good in the final matches making sure that there was a draw in the final game. Special well done to Alan Watts in his first match of the season.
