Billericay take on Burnham

What a match, Burnham took on Billericay at Westcliff and both teams faced up to the challenge. There was some amazing defensive play by Cerys Cook, George Yeoman and Joshua Schiembri, this allowed many balls to be turned over so that our attacking game could take over. From some quick fired ball from Ratty Diss to Cerys Cook, who steamed down the field to then pop the ball out to Thomas Dawson, who had been waiting so patiently on the wing, to fly over that line.

Burnham had to keep their heads up as Billericay were quick to score. Burnham ran it back and kept popping that ball out, with Lewis Gillett firing on all cylinders, ensuring the ball got out to Thomas Dawson again and again!

Billericay would not give up and kept charging forwards, but with crunching tackles from Lewis Gillett, Bailey Hailstone and George Yeoman there was little chance, but they managed to slip through. With the final score 15-15, a great display of rugby.
