It was a blustery day on the House Boat pitch as Basildon came to play, due to the half term we only had half a team, down to seven players just enough but no subs! it was going to be a tough game to keep going but as soon as the game started it proved to be physical as well with the boys taking a few knocks.
However a sterling deference from the whole team enable Burnham to keep Basildon at bay, a special mention goes to Oliver Bennet for being the tackler of the day as well the two Georges Cooke and Spring holding the defensive line. Try scorers, Patrick Smyth, Riley Stubbing's , Joe Banks, Kieran Harris and Oliver Bennett.
Most importantly we played as a team holding the defensive line passing and attacking together.
