Burnham U9's continue to impress

Burnham U9's travelled away to Stanford. Team comprised of Max, Elliott, Harrison, Charlie, Teddy, Will and Bobbie. With a couple of new players making their match debuts, the boys were there to build on a very good start to their season. The question was could they do it whilst under game conditions?
The first game was a tough start, but the boys played well and showed some good endeavour and tackling. At the end of the first game, Stanford won 5-1 with Max scoring for Burnham.
Second game, and the boys raised their game again, working hard as a team they thwarted Stanford, but eventually lost 6-2 with Max and Will both going over for deserved tries.
Last game, and it was a pulsating affair, none of that England v South Africa dross, this was full of tries and at the end of it Burnham had their win! Burnham 5 Stanford 4
All the boys played really well, Max was tackling everything that moved. Elliott, great effort and very positive. Charlie for his organisation and communication. Will for his all round play and Teddy and Bobbie as this was their first match. Special mention to man of the match Harrison for his all round effort and some impressive tackling.
