Another Day another Sunny Sunday and this week at Stanford.
Burnham really up and firing right from the start today.
It's was an even fiercely fought match which saw Burnham scoring the first try of the day.
The move involved some neat passing up the game field which lead to Burnhams big no8 to bully himself over the try line to score. Both teams played attacking rugby and Burnham's second try was done with some individualism from the full back to run through Stanford's defence to score. Stanford pulled a try back from their winger with fine move and hard run. Burnhams scrum half continued to run the show .
Second half both teams were strong in attack and defence with some fine tackling.Burnham upped their game with some excellent passing and offloading which lead the Burnham winger scoring a try with his strength.
Stanford hit back with another try .Burnham continued to attack and scrum well which lead to a penalty for hands in a ruck. Quick thinking and tap penalty by winger to go over the line stunned Stanford. The match at this time all square and both sides fought hard to make the break. It was Stanfords time to maul near Burnhams try line to go over and score the winning try. Excellent game by both sides and the best rugby played by Burnham so far this season. 25-20
