> From the kick off Burnham took on Southend in every department tackling like Demons winning mauls and tightly fought rucks. Southend were strong and did make a few breaks to score a couple of tries Burnham continued to play and the played together as a team moving the ball around for only the last play to breakdown.Southend managed to make two more break away tries to end the first half. 25-0
> Second half Burnham came out full throttle a played their best rugby of the game continuing to move the ball quick from the mauls and through the hands of the backs.

But Southend managed to find the gaps to score another two tries.Burnham still sizzling with the ball and driving forward in mauls and passing out to the backhand scored again and followed by another try.
