Burnham vs Billericay Friendly

Despite the rain and wind lashing down on the under 13's, their spirits remained high and fought hard against Billericay. Billericay loaned us players to make equal side of 13 and with fire in their bellies they tried their hardest, even when the tries for Billericay were stacking up. The boys made some fantastic tackles to win the ball with some suburb runs but was unable to penetrate Billericay's defensive line to score the much needed tries. Grateful for the match time and with numb hands the under 13's were not giving up without a fight. All the boys have upped their game since their last and we need to remember this is only the second game of the season for them. The defensive was finally penetrated with the last try of game being scored by Burnham with conversion from Sid Jarchow. Again it has been difficult to pick man of the match however this week it goes to Jack Hawkins.
